McLeod Aluminum Flywheels are ideal for numerous applications such as supercharged or turbocharged engines. These flywheels are ideal for higher horsepower engines and combinations that achieve rapid RPM levels. McLeod Aluminum Flywheels are CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and come with a replaceable steel friction plate and 1045 steel hardened ring gear.
Your drivetrain is all the components responsible for transfering power from your engine and delivering it to the wheels. Drivetrain components are vital to your vehicles operation.
Flywheels are used to store rotational energy from your engine and transfer it to your transmission with a clutch. Whenever you’re replacing a clutch, we recommend getting your flywheel replaced or resurfaced. If your are looking to increasing the responsiveness of your engine, we recommend upgrading your OEM flywheel to an aftermarket lightweight flywheel.
